What made you choose your instrument? I’m not sure, but when I was very young I was already telling my parents that I “like the drums.” When it came time to choose an instrument for 5th grade band, I don’t think I ever even considered any other instruments.
Last book you read/what are you reading now? The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson
Why do you love playing in an orchestra? It allows me to experience and express a lot of powerful emotions. I’m a pretty easy-going guy, but playing in an orchestra, especially in the percussion section, can be such a visceral experience.
